Uma Karuna Thurman was an American actor best known as the character 'Mia Wallace'' in the dark-comedy movie "Pulpfiction." She became an Hollywood A-list celebrity because of her performance in Pulp Fiction. She's an actress with the desire to act and is not afraid to shed her glamourous past. The actress won numerous awards due to her unglamorous character on the "Kill Bill" movie series. Her family was an unconventional family, with a Hindu-sounding name. The lanky girl, who was mocked due to her big feet and curvaceous body when she got older and had a slim frame. Although she's been praised because of her gorgeous looks, she was once shy and self-conscious about herself. She took up drama in high school, and realized that it made her feel more confident and ease into her life.
