Alison Doody

Alison Doody was born in Dublin in 1966, in the middle class family. She is the youngest child of three. While in a convent, she discovered an interest in artwork. Following a short period, she returned to the National College of Fine Arts of Dublin. Then, due to a lack of enthusiasm, she decided to take some time off and gave 10 months to recover. In the meantime, as she was sitting in a restaurant with friends She was contacted by a photographer in a still mode who inquired if she'd want to do a modeling. Thinking she could use the pockets money, she said yes. Soon, she was working professional as modeling. Modeling contracts lead to commercial jobs that would see her around the world. After watching her performance her work, she was urged to take up modeling. She was sent to London at the age of 19 which was where she won an audition to be part of the latest James Bond film, A View to a Kill (1985). She was a natural actor and her love for the role has led her to study it as a profession. After the first film she acted in that she directed, she did a handful of TV shows in London and in Dublin however her biggest break came when she got cast as Aryan sexual seductress, the Dr. Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
